Housekeeping Assistant


 

Would you like to assist in achieving a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and those important to them?

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to assist with achieving the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the building by carrying out a variety of tasks from deep cleans, assisting with the laundering of patients clothing and linen, and supporting the Housekeeping team.

You will have a friendly, helpful manner and be part of a team who are passionate about ensuring that every aspect of the care that we provide for our patients and those important to them, is kind and compassionate.

What will I be doing?

  • Assisting with the cleaning of all internal areas such as patient and visitor bedrooms, staff rooms and kitchens, clinical therapy and medical care rooms, offices and corridors and stairways.
  • Assist with effective washing and ironing of patient clothing and linen ensuring that it is dried, aired, stored, and rotated correctly.
  • Helping unload deliveries of consumables and transfer to the stores ensuring that all store cupboards are kept in a tidy and organised manner.
  • Carrying out deep cleans on carpeted areas using our commercial carpet cleaner.
  • Supporting the Housekeeping team with carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks when required

Our housekeeping team are a 7 day a week service with shifts offered between 6am - 5pm Monday to Sunday. This vacancy is for a maximum of 30 hours per week.
