The Role
As a Teaching Assistant you will be offered a range of assignments providing support in local Primary Schools. Whether your preference is daily adhoc work or a fixed term role, we can help. Working with our partnering schools, we have a high demand for Teaching Assistants of all subject specialisms to work in a number of roles within the area.

Requirements
We require applicants to have a good understanding of the curriculum and be comfortable working between years 1 and 4. The role will consist of a mixture of general classroom support and also working with small groups of children providing interventions.
Job specifications
- The working hours for the teaching assistant roles would be from 8.30am – 3.30pm.
- Support the class teacher in the preparation and also the delivery of the lessons/interventions for the day.
- Assist in dealing with any behavioural difficulties that may occur around the classroom.
- We work with supportive schools who will assist in your development within the class room.
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
Experience of working with pupils with SEND
A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
An ability to work as part of a team
